A Note About Hatching Eggs 🐣
We take great pride in providing fertile eggs from our healthy, well-loved flock here at Family Heritage Acres. Each egg is carefully collected and packed with care, just as we would for our own incubator.
That said, shipped hatching eggs are a gamble! Shipping, temperature changes, handling along the way, and even incubation conditions at home can all affect hatch rates in ways we simply can’t control.
Because of this, we’re unable to guarantee hatch rates on shipped eggs.
By purchasing hatching eggs, you’re understanding and accepting these risks, but with care and patience, you’ll be rewarded with something truly special.

Our Promise: Fresh, Intact, and Right for You
At Family Heritage Acres, every order is packed with care. While we don’t accept actual returns, we stand by the quality of what we send.
If your eggs arrive broken, we’ll make it right.
Choose from:
✅ A refund for the damaged egg
✅ Store credit for a future purchase
✅ Replacement hatching eggs
If you receive broken hatching eggs, snap a photo right away and send it to us. We’re here to help and ensure you get the quality you expect.
If you opt for refund of damaged egg, "extra" eggs to not count. For example: you ordered 12 eggs, we send 15 and 2 are broken upon arrival. We do not offer refund/replacement for those two extra eggs.
If you opt for us to ship replacement eggs, YOU PAY SHIPPING. We are happy to replace eggs broken by shippers, but you will need to pay for the shipping costs.
Shipping & Pickup Information
If ordering for shipping, your order will be shipped in the order received. Typically order fulfillment time is 1-3 weeks.
We will ship hatching eggs on Mondays and Tuesdays only. We will provide tracking information to you via email.
If you select pick up, we will reach out with your pick up date. All pick ups will be at our Chick Shack located in Kelso, WA.
